It's been boundlessly frustrating because there are not many places to ask for help. zip file and there appears to be no way to open it. I am downloading from the NVSE website and I download the stable version. Also, are you using 7zip or another similar program? I'll try and figure it out to the best of my abilities, just need a little more information first. However I only get a single file called NVSE. I have checked YouTube and every single video claims that I should get a folder. Im not looking for an extension to NVSE, Im looking for the OG mod. Additionally, this mod includes numerous engine bug fixes/tweaks, and restores several broken game features. It adds 800+ new functions, which can be used in GECK scripting and (in some cases) as conditions. I have just downloaded NVSE and I am having problems installing it. This plugin is an extension of the New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE).
